摘要:目的 研究整合素α5(Integrin α5)在食管鳞癌组织中的表达及其与临床病理参数10 的关系。方法 应用组织芯片和免疫组织化学染色等方法,检测了整合素α5在147例食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况并分析了其表达与临床病理参数以及患者预后的关系。结果 1)免疫组化染色提示,在147例食管鳞癌组织中,整合素α5在癌细胞呈强染色的为34例(>5分,23.1%),弱或中等强度染色有113 例(76.9%);2)整合素α5的表达与食管鳞癌组织的分化程度显著相关;3)整合素α5的表达水平与食管癌患者的生存率呈显著负相关15 (P=0.005),整合素α5的表达可以作为判断食管癌预后的独立预警分子(P=0.003)。 结论 整合素α5可能在食管癌发生发展过程中发挥重要作用。

Expression of Integrin α5 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract: Purpose: This study is aimed to explore the expression and the clinical significance of Integrin α5 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Methods: Integrin α5 expression was 30 evaluated using tissue microarray and immunohistochemical staining in 147 samples of human ESCC. Impact of Integrin α5 expression on the survival of ESCC patients was also determined. Results: Integrin α5 was high-expression in 23.1% (34/147) of the ESCC samples and was weak or moderate-expression in the other 113 cases. Integrin α5 expression was associated with differentiation of ESCC. Moreover, high tumorous Integrin α5 expression was significantly 35 correlated with shorter overall survival and Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that Integrin α5 expression was an independent prognostic factor for human ESCC patients. Conclusions: Integrin α5 is an ESCC candidate clinical prognostic marker and a potential treatment target.
